I carried this all over Europe and felt in style. It is a little hard to get into the center area and it doesn't hold as much as I would have liked but it is a stylish and durable.

I actually purchased this about five years ago, and didn't notice I had not reviewed it.
The claims of quality are true. It is extremely solid, with nice looking leather. Although, it would never sell for $400. I think I paid about $70 or $80 for it. Even though I liked the way it looks, I tried to give it to my sister-in-law, because I never used it, and she gave it back.
It is awkward to get in and out of, and doesn't hold very much, as the other reviewer said. I don't have very much patience getting in and out of bags, and my SIL had the same experience.
Also, it has a pocket that is exposed when wearing it as a backpack. Even though it has a zipper, if you are standing in a crowded area for any period of time, a good pickpocket could easily unzip it, take the contents, and zip it back up, allowing more time to use credit cards, etc. before discovery of the theft. It happened to a friend at a mall wearing a similar style.
